Jewish Federation of St. Louis organizes a variety of experiences for special cohorts. Some of these are St. Louis-based trips and some are in partnership with Jewish Federations of North America.

JWRP Momentum Journey
We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to the generosity of the Staenberg Family Foundation, the Jewish Federation of St. Louis is continuing its partnership with JWRP to offer women with children under 18 years old a 10 day journey through Israel. Preceding the JWRP Momentum Journey, we will spend two days visiting the Jewish Federation of St. Louis funded programs including an overnight stay in our Partnership region of Yok’neam-Meggido.
JWRP has partners all across North America, including many Jewish Federations. Since 2009, the JWRP has sent over 6,000 participants from 126 partner organizations in 17 countries on highly subsidized trips to Israel. This inspiring Israel experience incorporates deep Jewish learning, unique on-the-ground experiences and a bond with other women all committed to creating and sustaining a strong, vibrant Jewish community.
What’s unique about the Jewish Federation of St. Louis’ partnership is that we have the opportunity to bring 18 women committed to the work of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis to experience Israel with a focus on learning, leading and community. Through the JWRP Israel curriculum, we will learn Jewish values that elevate our leadership, and through our trip experiences, we will connect this learning to the programs and projects in Israel that our dollars support.
As a result of this experience, the Jewish Federation of St. Louis women will feel even more empowered to lead in ways that bring deep meaning and purpose to our work at home, in our organizations and to the community at large.
The application process is now open. Please see the attached flyer. The Rubin Israel Experience
October 28-November 7, 2018
Philanthropists and visionaries Ron & Pam Rubin want to invest in YOU. The Rubin Israel Experience is an incredible opportunity for young Jews who have never traveled to Israel to do so with their peers at no cost.
It’s not often that such an amazing, life-changing opportunity is offered to the young Jews of St. Louis – but Jewish Federation of St. Louis has one! Become a part of The Rubin Israel Experience and have the trip of a lifetime.
It is the hope and expectation for this unique Israel experience to inspire participants to be full of energy and passion for Jewish community involvement upon their return. This trip demonstrates the Jewish community’s dedication and investment in those young adults (you) who possess the ability to step up and be in the “driver’s seat” of their community. The Rubin Israel Experience is open to St. Louis residents ages 35-50 who have never before been to Israel.
Applications are open January 24 through April 10, 2018. For more information about the trip, contact Mindee Fredman at MFredman@JFedSTL.org.
