Robert (Bob) Newmark has been nominated as Board Chair of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, to succeed current chair, Greg Yawitz. Bob will be formally presented for election at the Jewish Federation of St. Louis’ Board of Directors’ meeting in December and take office on January 1, 2023.
The Women’s Auxiliary Foundation for Jewish Aged, a supporting foundation of Jewish Federation of St. Louis, is now accepting applications for its 2022 funding cycle from St. Louis area 501(c)(3) organizations.
Jewish Federation of St. Louis has announced the upcoming presentation of three prestigious awards. Patty Bloom and Karen Sher will receive the Fred A. Goldstein Professional Leadership Award and Abby Goldstein and Dalia Oppenheimer will receive the David N. and Roselin Grosberg Volunteer Young Leadership Award. Luxco will receive the RubinBrown Corporate Leadership Award.

Jewish Federation of St. Louis and the J announced today that the area’s largest Jewish arts and culture festival will take place Sept. 18, 2022, at Andrew and Ann Tisch Park on the east entrance of the Washington University campus.
Jewish Federation of St. Louis and supporting partners will be presenting workshop opportunities focused on Jewish mental wellness. The workshops are part of Federation’s efforts to improve our community’s ability to respond to mental health challenges during the pandemic and beyond.
