Bonnie Solomon, Chair
Bonnie Solomon
For more than 40 years, Bonnie Solomon has combined her passion for seniors in both her professional and volunteer life. Her community input has been vast, including work with Covenant Place (formerly Covenant House/CHAI), National Council of Jewish Women, Jewish Women International, Jewish Federation of St. Louis, Jewish Community Center, Jewish Family & Children’s Service and the Mid-East Area on Aging. In addition, she has provided leadership to the Chamber of Commerce, both local and national professional associations, school districts and Congregation Shaare Emeth. In each of these endeavors, she has brought caring and organized action. Her experiences have allowed her to mentor, guide and bring a multi-lensed perspective to community building and collaboration. Her current position as Vice-Chair of Community Service for Women’s Philanthropy continues that tradition.

She is motivated by her overall love of Jewish life and wants to give back to others because of all the privileges in her own life. She thinks it is wonderful to practice Jewish continuity to honor our past and provide for the future. Her favorite things about St. Louis are the beautiful seasons of spring and fall and what a great city it is to raise a family–great schools, great synagogues, a free zoo and so much art and culture.
