Presidents’ Circle

The Millstone Institute Presidents’ Circle convenes twice yearly to promote relationship building between senior leaders.

We can only advance collaborative leadership when there are spaces for senior leaders – board presidents, presidents-elect, executive directors/CEOs and clergy to meet each other. Not a place for debate or decision making, but rather an opportunity to connect with someone you otherwise most likely might not get to meet. A comfortable atmosphere for networking and conversations. The Presidents’ Circle format promotes conversations that generate respect, trust and curiosity about each other’s organizations. From the moment these leaders enter, they recognize there really is no other place in the Jewish community that provides this type of opportunity for relationship building.

The Power of a Story

Judaism is rooted in the sharing of stories. Experience how to deepen a relationship, strengthen a board or staff team, and share the important work of your organization/congregation/school through the power of an individual’s story.

It is the second most popular “Humans of” site in the U.S. after Humans of New York. By engaging strangers in insightful personal interviews, the HOSTL team produces visual stories that represent part of the larger community conversations and regional development taking place in St. Louis.
