Relevant to Jews of all ages, speaker Gary Frolich, genetics counselor and educator from Sanofi Genzyme, presents a biological and historical lesson on the “founder effect.” He will provide up-to-date information on 11 genetic conditions that occur more frequently in Jews of Ashkenazi descent than in the general population, as a result of this effect.
