At our Facebook Live event 6:30 on 6/30, the Jewish Federation of St. Louis kicked off the Annual Campaign by taking a look at what makes our community so special and how we can continue to provide support and strength through these unprecedented times.
Here for Good
From birthday car parades for seniors to helping the recently unemployed find their footing, the Jewish Federation of St. Louis is here for our community and here for good. Through programs such as St. Louis NORC, MERS Goodwill Employment Services, and the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry, Federation is stepping up to provide vital services to the St. Louis Jewish community throughout the coronavirus pandemic and all that it touches.
Marge Fenster, a senior and proponent of NORC, shared her gratitude for the program in the video:
“It means I can feel more comfortable, especially in these years, staying in my home.”
Focused on Safety and Security
At 6:30 on 6/30, Federation also highlighted their dedication to keeping the community safe and secure through the Director of Community Security, which provides a base level of security for 30 Jewish institutions in St. Louis and beyond. The Annual Campaign will allow for us to build upon that base level so that our community can feel safe from antisemitism and other threats.
