Jewish Federation of St. Louis, through the Israel Center, announces the availability of several grants and scholarships for teens and young adults traveling to Israel in 2016 on a peer-based educational experience.

  • Israel Travel Grant – Open to all teens and young adults, the award is based on length of stay in Israel; $750 for summer programs, $1,000 for semester programs and $1,500 for gap year programs. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis from teens and young adults upon completion of 9th grade through age 26.
  • Stuart I. Pessin Merit Grant – Two high school teens will be awarded $1,250 each for their 2016 Israel experience. Applications are due January 25, 2016.
  • Need-Based Scholarship – This scholarship is open to high school teens and extends through their gap year. Applications are due February 2, 2016.
