It’s been an eventful few days! We spent Shabbat exploring the gorgeous Ein Gedi nature reserve.
The bravest of us went for a swim in the waterfalls, which were cold and wonderfully refreshing.
We had time to relax before Havdallah and the bus ride to Eilat. On the way we stopped for ice cream made by the Yotveta kibbutz, the best in Israel!
After a night out exploring the coastal city of Eilat, we were up bright and early to hike Mount Tzfahot.
From the top of the mountain we looked out over Israel, Egypt, and Jordan. If the day was a bit clearer we might have seen Saudi Arabia in the distance.
After making our way down the mountain, we took a plunge into the Red Sea to snorkel around the coral reef. Now we take a well deserved break on the bus as Maxi, our tour guide, tells us fun facts about what we pass. We are off north to a night in the Bedouin tents and our next adventure!
