Today was the most relaxing day of the trip, and Jerusalem seems like it was the perfect place to spend it. We started off the morning with some light conversation on the roof of our hotel.

Ari Applebaum from the David Project came to visit us. They go to US college campuses and attempt to change the discourse about Israel to be more positive. The David Project can be found here https://www.davidproject.org/

We got ot visit the wall again today. The atmosphere was quite different in the daytime and not on Shabbat. The picture below shows the different entrances into the Old City for men and women.

Lucky for you guys, a visit to the wall not on Shabbat means pictures!

Here’s a view of the Dome of the Rock, which sits just behind the wall. It was built to be the home of G-d.

We also got to check out the shops in the Collenade. Look for the Israeli Stock Exchange to go up several points as I think our group single-handedly stimulated the entire economy.

Finally our guide, Amir, hosted us all for dinner at his house. The food was fantastic, and I ate enough to feed a small house full of children. Sorry children.

Amir made us this fantastic tea for after dinner. I don’t know what it was, but I think it was ground up relaxation mixed with some shavings of bliss.

All right that’s all I’ve got for today. Not sure what is on the schedule for tomorrow, but I think we’ve got a block of about 8 hours to sit there and cry about having to go home in 2 days. I leave you with the sunset reflecting off the mountain outside the Old City. Good night!
