Many religious services affected by the COVID-19 outbreak are still available through livestreams on your computer. As part of Federation’s continuing efforts to keep the community connected and informed, we have assembled a list of congregational livestreams. Please send us additional listings by emailing information to RJackoway@JFedSTL.org.

Holocaust Memorial Day – Mirowitz offers Educational Holocaust Memorial Activity for St. Louis Families
Yom HaShoah, Holocaust and Heroism Memorial Day, is tomorrow, April 21, the 27th day of Nissan. Though we are unable to gather in person, Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School is inviting the community to join together on Facebook Live (https://www.facebook.com/Mirowitz/) Tuesday morning at 9:30 am to commemorate the day.
In partnership with the local Jewish community, Mirowitz will introduce a memorial activity, appropriate for children (3rd grade and older) and adults.
The program will include an introduction by 8th grade students, a video testimonial by a Holocaust survivor, a candle lighting ceremony and the singing of Eli, Eli, a Holocaust memorial song. Participants will have an opportunity to participate in a hands-on activity, designing butterflies for their windows as a Holocaust symbol of hope. We hope St. Louis will join dozens of communities across the country by filling our neighborhoods with the butterflies. Families are encouraged to post a photo of their butterfly to social media with the hashtag #ButterfliesLiveHere.
