This year marks the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem. Itzhak Brook, M.D., served as a battalion physician during the Yom Kippur War and recounts his personal experiences during that time in his book In the Sands of Sinai: A Physician’s Account of the Yom Kippur War.
