For the non-Jewish partners of Jewish leaders in our community, the relationship with Israel can be particularly challenging to understand, as the connection to a specific country for religious reasons does not exist in most other faiths. This highly subsidized trip enhances each participant’s connection to Israel and strengthens the understanding of both the Jewish and non-Jewish partner.
