Yom Kippur Tot Service Our Tot services are led by our Rabbis and Megan "Miss Megan" Sturdevant and are geared to families with children in Pre-K and younger. This service is highly participatory with upbeat songs your children may know and love and a short story from the Rabbis.

We will offer two services during Yom Kippur morning. The service in our CRC Sukkat Shalom will be led by Rabbis Karen and Daniel Bogard, along with the CRC HHD Band and other musical guests. Yom Kippur Intergenerational Morning Service At this intergenerational service led by our Rabbis, we welcome adults and families with children who may enjoy attending a traditional-style service. For families with younger children (ages 6 months through grade 2), we also offer childcare with advance registration.
Celebrate with the UH clergy and Rick Recht where we’ll sing, rejoice, and pray as one. Our worship services are a joyous combination of our traditional and contemporary styles. An early Memorial Service will follow directly after the morning service.
Our L’Dor VaDor Intergenerational Service is an interactive worship experience filled with music, blessings, and a story-based sermon. We’ll explore the themes of the holiday in a relatable way, inspiring all in attendance to step into the new year with renewed purpose. Best for Families with Children Ages 8+ • Duration: 1 hour
Personal Care Item Drive Sorting Every year, we collect personal care items throughout the High Holy Days for the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry. All are invited to help us organize, sort, box, and bag these items for donation throughout the hour. Volunteers of all abilities are welcome.
Teens, this is your space to connect with Yom Kippur in a real and meaningful way—no parents, no classroom vibes. Reflect on the past year, explore who you want to become, and engage with others in a fresh, teen-focused experience. Grades 7–12
