Israeli society includes Jews of all denominations, but the Orthodox Chief Rabbinate holds legally binding power over religious matters, including marriage, divorce, kosher certification, conversion, prayer spaces at the Western Wall, and other areas of daily life. Through the Israel Religious Expression Platform (iRep), Federations are working with the Jewish Religious Equality Coalition to promote religious freedom in Israel.
