Veterans Day Shabbat with Dr. Monroe Ginsburg

Shir Hadash Reconstructionist Community will commemorate Veterans Day with a special Shabbat Learning program at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, in the Beit Midrash of The J’s Arts and Education Building in Creve Coeur. Guest speaker will be Dr. Monroe M. Ginsburg, Col., USA (ret), who will discuss the history of Jews serving in defense of our country. The program is free and open to the community.

Ginsburg was a career U.S. Army dental officer. He currently serves as president of the Jewish Veterans Memorial Center of St. Louis. Previously, he was the Jewish War Veterans Department of Midwest commander for the states of Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska. He has also served as commander of St. Louis JWV Post 644.

Ginsburg is a member of Kol Rinah Congregation and the St. Charles Jewish community.
