Understanding Ageism and How it Affects Us – Natalie Galucia, LMSW (free & in person)
Natalie Galucia, LMSW, Assistant Director of the Harvey A. Friedman Center for Aging at Washington University, leads an engaging discussion on ageism—what it is, where it shows up, and how it impacts people of all ages. She will explore the subtle and overt ways age-related bias influences healthcare, employment, relationships, and self-perception. Participants will learn how to recognize ageist attitudes and take steps toward more inclusive, respectful communication across generations. Natalie brings both expertise and practical insight to help us challenge assumptions and build a more age-inclusive society.
This program is Part 2 of a three-part series, Dialogue about Aging with WashU. Co-sponsored by AARP St. Louis. No cost to register, but RSVP required. Attend one or all sessions – prior attendance not necessary.
