Supporting the Children of October 7

Please join us at the Jewish Federation of St. Louis to hear Deborah Ben-Aderet’s first hand account of life in a kibbutz on the Gaza border. Learn about her family’s harrowing survival story of 10/7,  what it is it like raising a family under terror attack, and how the children of the community were affected, including her own.

Arielle Turover Cohen will then present The I Am Brave and Unafraid Book Project: Israel, which seeks to deliver the Hebrew edition of her children’s picture book, Am Brave and Unafraid, about facing fears and boosting one’s emotional intelligence, to the affecteted children of Kibbutz Zikim. Together with all of our local supporters of this project, we will be Team St. Louis! Together we can help affected children in the region be BRAVE and UNAFRAID!

While this event is free of charge, registration is required, and donations to The I Am Brave and Unafraid Book Project: Israel are appreciated.

This event is sponsored by: Bais Abraham Congregation, Aish Ha Torah St. Louis, Congregation B’nai Amoona, Congregation Shaare Emeth, Jewish Federation St. Louis, Kol Rinah, St. Louis Friends of Israel, Temple Emanuel, Traditional Congregation, U.City Shul and United Hebrew Congregation
