SLSO Jewish Community Night
Join us at Stifel Theatre for St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s Musical Fables.
Jewish Federation of St. Louis, St. Louis Jewish Light and St. Louis Jewish Community Center are hosting a Jewish Community Night at the SLSO! We invite you to join us at intermission and after the concert for a special champagne toast with Music Director Stéphane Denève.
Musical Fables is a concert you won’t want to miss.
A feast for the eyes and ears. French animator Grégoire Pont conjures an entire world before our eyes. In Albert Roussel’s The Spider’s Feast, Pont’s sketches dance on screen while the SLSO plays. Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf is accompanied by the Academy Award-winning short film, and the SLSO captures the energy of Francis Poulenc’s colorful musical fables, Les Animaux modèles.
During Intermission join us in the Peabody Lounge for complimentary brownies, cookies, tea and coffee. A cash bar will be available.
Champagne toast with the Music Director Stéphane Denève in the Peabody Lounge after the concert. Complimentary champagne and a cash bar will be available.
