About the Speaker
Professor Marc B. Shapiro holds the Weinberg Chair in Judaic Studies at the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania. He is the author of numerous articles and books, including Between the Yeshiva World and Modern Orthodoxy: The Life and Works of Rabbi Jehiel Jacob Weinberg, 1884-1966, Saul Lieberman and the Orthodox and Studies in Maimonides and His Interpreters. Professor Shapiro is also an online lecturer for Torah in Motion, for which he leads Jewish history tours.
