Shower Our Community with Love

Community members are asking how they can help during this unprecedented and challenging time. Join Women’s Philanthropy for our virtual Shower Our Community with Love and help our community from your home!

Please watch the video below to hear how you can help make a positive impact in our community. Led by Event Chairs Laura Ellen and Jennifer Rosenthal, and featuring Miriam Seidenfeld, CEO of Jewish Family Service, Sarah Levinson, NORC Manager, and Amy Bender-Levy, Women’s Philanthropy Chair.

Here are ways you can make a difference and participate in Shower Our Community with Love:

• Donate much needed personal care products to the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry. Shop our online Target Wish List, Amazon Wish List, or from any of your preferred stores.
• Volunteer with JFS to help meet the needs of our community. To volunteer, contact Jeremy Goldberg at 314-513-1679 or jgoldberg@jfsstl.org.
• Show your support for seniors who are doing their part to maintain recommended social distancing! Create cards for people living at Covenant Place, Crown Center, and within the NORC. Please make your card one-sided for easy printing. Bright, colorful pictures and/or kind and thoughtful messages by children or adults are fantastic. Email your cards to WP@JFedSTL.org.
• Join us on Sunday, May 3, at 10 am for a Women’s Philanthropy Car Parade for seniors. Decorate your cars and posters with positive messages to show vibrant and resilient older people in our community that we are thinking about them during this challenging time. SIGN UP HERE prior to April 30. Details and directions to follow.
