Explore your own leadership, creativity, and ability to influence those around you with Roey Kruvi of Moishe House, who recently moved to St. Louis. Roey leads workshops for Jewish young adults around the world and is the founder of a number of initiatives including Moishe House’s Retreatology, Moishe Pods, and Camp Nai Nai Nai. A Schusterman Fellow and member of the ROI community, Roey was the 2018 JPRO Network of North America Young Pro of the Year.

How might we be leaders in our organizations as younger professionals? Explore skills to effectively initiative new ideas, partner with colleagues and lay leaders, and create change throughout your organization. Led by Nava Kantor, Manager of Community Assessment & Planning, and Emily Bornstein, Director of Community Investment & Evaluation, of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis. Introduction by Rabbi Rachel Bearman of Congregation Shaare Emeth.
Changing the World: October

Recognizing that every day we’re faced with conflicting priorities of where to put our knowledge, energy, and time, how can we tackle the big issues of racial justice, stand up to hatred of all forms, and support the most vulnerable in our community? The most successful social movements have often been led by young adults who vision a better future. Discussion led by Alyssa Banford, Director of Civic Engagement, St. Louis JCRC. Introduction by Tony Westbrook, Assistant Director, WashU Hillel.
