JProStL Exploring the Divide
Join us for Exploring the Divide, a JProStL program designed for professionals who work throughout the St. Louis Jewish community, taking place Tuesday, May 9th. Participants will park at the Delmar DevINe and board a bus at 9:30 am for a 2 ½ tour led by Amanda Clark, Community Tours Manager for the Missouri Historical Society, highlighting the historical roots of the Jewish and Black experiences in St. Louis and how they impact our communities today.
The event will be followed by a debrief, optional lunch from Ben Poremba’s new Deli Divine, and optional tour of Delmar DevINe, a social innovation space, with Jorge Riopedre, Executive Director. The program will be facilitated by Cheryl Adelstein (JCRC), Tamyka Perine (Cultural Leadership) and Heather Silverman (NCJW).
Bus tour is limited to 30 participants. There is no charge for the tour and program. Participants can order and pay for lunch after registering. For information contact Natalie Hillman, MSW Intern, NHillman@jfedstl.org or Marci Mayer Eisen, MEisen@JFedStL.org.
