Session 1: Reconnect, Reset, Recharge: A Roadmap for Building Resilience and Avoiding Burnout

In this interactive session, participants will be given tools for staying energized in their work, and learn strategies for setting realistic expectations, communicating boundaries, and navigating change. Session 2: Reimagine Communication by Embracing Innovation and Disruption
Featuring Keith Alper in Conversation with Patty Bloom
Thursday, April 7, noon to 1 pm
In this illuminating session, marketing experts Keith Alper and Patty Bloom will discuss marketing trends within our quickly changing reality. It’s full steam ahead as they consider the barriers to innovation in communication and how to meet your market where they’re really at.
Keith Alper is a producer, entrepreneur, and expert in marketing, and is the founder of several companies, including Nitrous Effect, CPS, Evntiv, Geniecast, UPBrand, and Vidzu, that have been recognized for changing industry standards for communications and event planning. Keith has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Fortune, and Inc. and has received over 200 industry awards.
Patty Bloom is Director of Admissions and Marketing at Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School and has had leadership roles on several Jewish community boards.
Session 3: Redefine Fundraising: National Perspectives and Candid Conversations on Jewish Philanthropy
Tuesday, April 26, noon to 1 pm
Gain insight from a panel of leading professionals in the world of Jewish philanthropy and fundraising as they share their experiences navigating national and local landscapes and the challenges and opportunities presented by COVID.
The panel will be moderated by Steven Rosenblum, Associate Vice Chancellor of University Initiatives at Washington University in St. Louis and Past Board President of Crown Center for Senior Living.
Panelists will include Serena Young, Assistant Vice President, HUC-JIR, Dirk Bird, Assistant Vice President for Planned Giving and Endowment, Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), and Bailey Nakelsky, Associate Vice President for Leadership Giving, Hillel International.
