Beyond the Spotlight: Jewish Values in Theatre – The Wanderers (free & in person)

Rabbi Jeffrey Abraham of Congregation B’nai Amoona and Artistic Director Rebekah Scallet of New Jewish Theatre will lead a discussion at the Mirowitz Center about The Wanderers, examining the play’s themes of Jewish identity, personal freedom, and the complexities of relationships within Orthodox and secular Jewish communities. The play, written by Anna Ziegler, thoughtfully navigates the lives of two couples as they balance their identities with their familial and cultural expectations. Co-sponsored by The New Jewish Theatre.
