Awakening Hearts and Minds: A Mussar Practice Intensive Retreat

Location:

May 6-9, 2018

Tradition Congregation
12437 Ladue Rd., 63141

The Mussar Institute’s annual retreat provides both new and experienced students with the skills and tools to integrate the practice of Mussar into their daily lives, with guidance from dynamic and experienced educators. Participants will spend three days in a collective and interactive setting, learning classic Mussar spiritual practices such as chanting, journaling, meditation and kabbalot that will sharpen attendees’ Mussar perspectives.

Every participant will enjoy one-on-one time with faculty members, as well as participation in a Mussar va’ad – a small group designed to support our Mussar practices. In addition to whole group learning opportunities, students will also have individual time to reflect, walk, pray and rest.

All who are interested in the practice of Mussar, regardless of previous experience, are encouraged to join in this awakening of hearts and minds.

The Mussar Practice Intensive Retreat is a program offered through The Mussar Institute. For additional information, contact Cyndee Levy at 314-442-3754 or CLevy@JFedSTL.org. For fee and registration, please click here.
