Join the Saul Brodsky Jewish Community Library for an afternoon of great klezmer music and Yiddish songs by Di Kamer Kapelye to honor “Friends” of the Library.

In the early 20th century, immigrants from Central Europe enjoyed listening to music from their homelands played on handcranked Victrolas. Di Kamer Kapelye tries to recapture the sound and spirit of those old shellac records. But without the scratches.

The event will take place on Sunday, December 11 at 2:00 pm at the Jewish Federation of St. Louis Kopolow Building. This event is free but registration is requested. RSVP to the Brodsky Library at 314-442-3720 or to Cyndee Levy, Director, Center for Jewish Learning, at 314-442-3754 or CLevy@JFedSTL.org. Refreshments will be served; dietary laws observed.
