About the Program:
Join the Museum for an inspiring workshop, as Kristi Williams invites educators into a bold conversation on what it means to teach Black history in an era of book bans, restrictive legislation, and historical erasure. Through powerful storytelling and practical reflection, Kristi shares how discovering Black history for the first time changed her life and how that journey led to the founding of Black History Saturdays in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This workshop is designed to uplift and empower educators at all grade levels who are ready to reclaim the narrative and lead with purpose.
