We’re excited to launch Books and Bagels, the Center for Jewish Literature at The J’s brand-new Brunch and Learn series—where great conversation, local authors, and fresh bagels come together for a meaningful mid-morning break. Join us for our first event with beloved St. Louis author Alan Spector, celebrating his latest release, Life Lessons Learned—a heartfelt, often funny look at the one-liners, quotes, and cultural proverbs that stick with us and shape who we are. Alan’s writing covers everything from retirement and baseball to baby boomers and navigating life’s toughest moments. His work is thoughtful, down-to-earth, and full of insight you’ll carry with you.
