Sarah Z. Levinson (JFS), past president of JProStL has announced the board for 2024-25. JProStL, an initiative of Jewish Federation of St. Louis, is the professional association for staff who work at 50 nonprofits affiliated with the St. Louis Jewish community. Rabbi Lori Levine (Congregation Shaare Emeth) continues as president. Moving into the role of vice presidents are Shannon Rohlman (Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School) and Rebekah Scallet (The J). Levinson continues as the immediate past president. Returning committee chairs are Tanya Spivey (Congregation B’nai Amoona) for special events and Susan Kemppainen (Covenant Place). Scott Berzon (Jewish Federation) re-joins the board as Professional Development Chair. Berzon previously was a vice president of JProStL. Tamyka Perine (LEAD STL) continues as an at-large member. New At-Large board members include Rabbi Avi Feigenbaum (EMBY – Esther Miller Bais Yaakov), Melissa Katz (JFS), Lauren Lourie (United Hebrew Congregation), Jordan Palmer (St. Louis Jewish Light), Elyse Picker (JCRC), Rabbi Andrew Terkel (Be The Narrative) and Helen Turner (Holocaust Museum). Marci Mayer Eisen is the director of JProStL.

The new board will be installed at the Annual JProStL Networking event on May 16 at 3:00 pm with the theme, Recharge Your Passion. The event is open to all staff who work at least 15 hours/week at a Jewish organization, school or congregation. Outgoing board members to be recognized include Rachel Wallis Andreasson, Jessica Duneman, Jeremy Goldberg, Rabbi Chaim Landa, Rabbi David Reinhart, Ashley Stockman and Shira Swidler.

JProStL provides professional development, networking, sharing of resources, and recognition of staff.
