We are all living through a historic and momentous time in regard to our country’s reckoning with its history around race. Our tradition teaches us that it is not our responsibility to finish the work of perfecting the world, but we are not free to desist from it either.
As an organization, the Jewish Federation of St. Louis is committed to exploring and addressing these issues. That is why we joined the founding cohort of JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) being put together by our national organization, JFNA.
We are committed to taking on the task of examining this imperfection in society – and ourselves – and to do what it takes to move toward a more perfect world, and Union.
