Women’s Auxiliary Foundation for Jewish Aged, a Supporting Foundation of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, has announced recipients of its fifth grant cycle, providing over $78,000 to local non-profit organizations.

In concert with one of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis’ Core Commitments to “secure the well-being and safety of individuals within the Jewish community” and its high strategic priority of serving “elderly Jews at risk,” the Women’s Auxiliary Foundation for Jewish Aged is committed to our mission to fund organizations and programs that work toward this priority.

The following were awarded grants:

  • B’nai Amoona Congregation
  • The Collaborative (Congregation Shaare Emeth, Temple Emanuel, Temple Israel and United Hebrew Congregation)
  • Louis Symphony
  • Jewish Family & Children’s Service
  • Jewish Community Center – STL
  • Jewish Federation of St. Louis – NORC
  • Covenant Place Foundation
  • Crown Center for Senior Living

Women’s Auxiliary Foundation for Jewish Aged is focused on providing financial support for programs and organizations that ensure the dignity and honor of the Jewish elderly in the community at large.

Women’s Auxiliary Foundation has a rich history in the St. Louis Jewish community and has evolved to become a significant source of support for the Jewish aged. After much consideration, Jewish Federation of St. Louis and Women’s Auxiliary Foundation created a partnership to leverage the expertise, resources, and leadership of both organizations to best meet the needs of the Jewish elderly community in St. Louis.
