Jewish Federation of St. Louis, the Jewish community’s central community-building, planning, and philanthropic organization, has begun inviting nominations and applications for the position of President and CEO.
Reporting to the Chairman and the Board of Directors, the President/CEO provides strategic vision and leadership for the Jewish Federation of St. Louis and its 60 employees, empowering it to further its mission and ensure that every individual can live their life with dignity, meaning, and purpose.
To lead Federation in continuing this vital community work, the next President/CEO must possess a record of success in guiding a complex organization through implementing strategies that lead to progress and change. The successful candidate must be able to recognize opportunities for growth and investment and motivate diverse constituencies to action.
The next President/CEO should also be a strong and inspirational communicator, a collaborative and resilient leader, an effective and enthusiastic fundraiser, and a seasoned manager demonstrating highly developed interpersonal skills and deep integrity.
The desired candidate will be knowledgeable and passionate about Judaism and Israel, with a personal commitment to Jewish values as well as compassion for, and understanding of, the Jewish people and the needs and welfare of Jews locally, in Israel, and around the world.
