What a month!

We went to Israel in the end of February for two weeks, and it was such a fun time!

I spent time with my friends and family, with my students from my youth group in Israel, and with lots of other people, I missed everyone there!

After my time in Israel I came back to St. Louis and I joined the Shaare Emeth youth group alternative spring break to New Orleans, LA. It was so fun to go and experience New Orleans with the kids, to see amazing places, and to learn about the great culture and history of the city.

At the city, we volunteered at a food bank and rebuilt a house that was damaged in Hurricane Katrina. It is amazing that kids from our community spend their spring break working for Tikkun Olam – to repair the world.

Tomorrow we are going to vote in Chicago for the upcoming Israeli elections, and I am SUPER excited! I can’t wait to know who is going to be the next prime minister!
