Happy Hanukkah!
This week we had a lot of activities for Hanukkah!
At Kol Rinah Early Childhood Center, we made candle headbands and we colored them! And at Sunday School, we had Israel Defense Force (IDF) day! We learned about the different brigades and units, we went through basic training, and we did a challenging IDF obstacle course!
At Shaare Emeth’s youth group lounge night, we had a gift exchange session and we lit the candles on the Menorah.
I also lit the Menorah with my new host family, the Horwitz family! I feel so welcomed here, and I thank them for that :)
