Last week I went to NFTY Chavora event with the kids from United Hebrew. It was in Kansas City so it was a long bus drive – but a lot of fun! It was really nice to meet new people from different places and to go through the activities we had; we talked about Israel, Judaism and so many other interesting topics.
This week, on Tuesday at the Early Childhood Center at Bnai Amoona, we talked about one of the most famous books in Israel (every Israeli child grows up reading this book) – “A Tail Of Five Balloons” (מעשה בחמישה בלונים ). We talked about the book and how to say some of the colors in Hebrew! After that, we colored some balloons and hang them on the Israel Board.
On Wednesday, there was an Israeli program at USY which was very nice, funny, and tasty. We ate some Falafel with Pita and Hummus (yum!).
Later during the week it snowed! It was really fun to see the beautiful snow and also play in it with everyone.
