Charity Navigator, America’s largest, most utilized, independent evaluator of charities, has awarded its 4-star rating to the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, noting the Federation’s sound fiscal management practices and commitment to accountability and transparency. Four stars is Charity Navigator’s highest possible rating.

Attaining a 4-star rating verifies that the Jewish Federation of St. Louis exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in its area of work, which places the organization in select company with other high-performing charities.

“Only a quarter of charities rated by Charity Navigator receive the distinction of our 4-star rating. This adds the Jewish Federation of St. Louis to a preeminent group of charities working to overcome our world’s most pressing challenges,” said Michael Thatcher, President & CEO of Charity Navigator. “Based on its 4-star rating, people can trust that when they decide to support the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, their donations are going to a financially responsible and ethical charity.”
