Bais Abraham Congregation, in partnership with Sh’ma: Listen! Speaker Series, presents “Rethinking the Three Weeks and Tishah B’Av Now that We Have a Sovereign Jewish State” on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 10:00 am. The event will take place at Bais Abraham Congregation.

Maharat Claudia Marbach will be a fourth year student at Yeshivat Maharat in the fall. This past school year, she had two internships. One was at Hebrew Senior Life Long Term Care at Newbridge on Charles as a Chaplain Intern dealing with end-of-life issues, and the other at Congregation Beth David in West Hartford as a Congregational Intern. She also launched a pop-up Beit Midrash for women called One Night Shtender. She has been a gabbai of a local women’s tefillah group, has tutored b’nai mitzvot, and participates in interfaith dialogue through the Daughters of Abraham network.

RSVP required to Bais Abe at Office@BaisAbe.com or 314-721-3030. Light breakfast will be served.

This program is made possible by Yeshivat Maharat, the Jewish Orthodox Feminist Alliance and Bais Abraham Congregation. Learn more about the Sh’ma: Listen!
