Become engaged with the new political landscape that will shape our future! Our community needs your involvement and your voice more than ever. Don’t miss out on this unique advocacy training and mission experience sponsored by the Jewish Community Relations Council and the Jewish Federation of St. Louis Millstone Institute.
Whether you are interested in sharing your own experience or looking to gain new skills to become a more effective agent for change, there is no better time to participate in this unique immersive leadership experience.
Join our two exceptionally talented co-chairs, Jason Cohen, Principal at Dewey Square Group’s National Grassroots Practice and Deborah Price, VP of Business Recruitment and General Counsel at Missouri Partnership for three empowering gatherings followed by a 2 day Washington DC experience.
Each of the pre-trip sessions are designed to provide people with the tools to make their voice heard and will enable participants to engage with high level leadership including local and federal Legislators, grassroots advocates, community organizational leadership and professional lobbyists. Sessions are designed to be engaging, interactive and filled with opportunities to gain and strengthen the skills necessary to be an impactful leader for social change. Participants will be empowered to create their own advocacy and campaign plan around issues that impact our community.
In DC, we will hear behind the scenes briefings, meet and engage with House and Senate leaders, policy makers and leaders for social change.
Pre-trip gatherings are scheduled for Sunday, February 12, Sunday, March 5 and Sunday, April 23rd. The Washington DC experience is scheduled for April 30th – May 2nd.
