Jewish Federation of St. Louis has announced the next cohort of “Rubinites” who will embark on The Rubin Israel Experience, an all-expense-paid trip for St. Louisans 27 to 45 years old who have never been to Israel. The 10-day trip brings together a diverse group of young adults for a life-changing journey, packing in activities that help them experience Israeli culture, food, nightlife, innovation, nature and history. The following community leaders will take the trip of a lifetime September 11-21, 2016:
- Matt Berman
- Lauren Gelber
- Jodi Glassman
- Lisa Greening
- Steven Myers
- Sharon Remis
- Katie Rice-Guter
- Neshama Roash
- Paul Sorenson
- David Sweeney
This unique trip was created to bring the Jewish experience full circle, inspiring a deeper connection to the St. Louis community and cultivating leadership. Now in its ninth year, philanthropists Ron and Pam Rubin believe this incredible Israel experience ignites a passion for a strong Jewish community within the potential leaders who participate. More than 80 young adults have been on this trip since its inception, and most of them are currently involved in meaningful and substantial leadership positions in our Jewish community.
The trip is offered and staffed by the Jewish Federation of St. Louis and underwritten by philanthropists Pam and Ron Rubin and The Rubin Family Foundation. For additional information, contact Mindee Fredman at MFredman@JFedSTL.org.
