Women’s Philanthropy of Jewish Federation of St. Louis will host an evening of celebration, community and giving featuring Jane Weitzman of Stuart Weitzman Shoes. The event, L’Chaim Soul to Sole, will take place on Thursday, November 19 at The Ritz-Carlton St. Louis. Cocktails will be served at 6:15 pm, followed by dinner and a formal program at 7:00 pm. Guests may also purchase a special ticket for “Champagne with Jane”, a special pre-reception to meet Jane Weitzman and receive a signed copy of her book, Art & Sole.
Jane Weitzman was the executive vice president of Stuart Weitzman and the founding vice president of Stuart Weitzman Retail. She spearheaded philanthropy for the company by generating funds to support breast and ovarian cancer research and awareness. Her efforts were brought to life through innovative charity events in the brand’s stores and on its website, such as the Stuart Weitzman Celebrity Breast Cancer Auction. Jane will share inspiring stories about her volunteer work with the global Jewish community.
Visit WP.JFedSTL.org/SoultoSole to RSVP. Soul to Sole tickets are $54 each; Champagne with Jane tickets are $180 each and includes one ticket to Soul to Sole. Women are encouraged to bring a pair of gently used shoes to donate to the National Council of Jewish Women. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to make a gift to Jewish Federation of St. Louis’ 2015 Annual Campaign at the event.
