Women’s Philanthropy recently returned from a meaningful mission trip to Chicago filled with Jewish learning and bonding. Highlights of the trip included a tour of the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center on Holocaust Remembrance Day and hearing from David Prystowsky, former head of Chicago’s JCRC, about anti-Semitism in the world today and how Federation works to ensure a safe Jewish world. 20 women from St. Louis were joined by Women’s Philanthropy groups from Chicago and Milwaukee Federations. The women also visited the Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership which was very impressive.
