More than 340 people attended the 10th Annual JProStl Recognition Luncheon on Thursday, January 29 at the St. Louis Jewish Community Center, Staenberg Family Complex. JProStl is the professional association for staff who work at fifty organizations affiliated with the St. Louis Jewish community. Karole Green, President of the Lubin-Green Foundation, a supporting foundation of Jewish Federation of St. Louis, was honored for the Foundation’s long-term commitment to professional excellence and JProStl. Honorees from the across the spectrum of the Jewish community were Tova Greenblatt (Esther Miller Bais Yaacov) for Career Achievement, H.Lee Rosenberg (United Hebrew Congregation) with the Mentor award, Patty Bloom (Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School) with the Pillar award, Peggy Landsbaum (JCC) for Dedication, Jill Grossman (JCC) for Chesed/Kindess, Chanie Winter (H.F. Epstein Academy) and Marty Schaeffer (Kol Rinah) for Education, Lee’at Bachar (Jewish Federation of St. Louis) and Amanda Radman (Congregation Temple Israel) for Emerging Leaders and Rabbi Michael Rovinsky (JSU – Jewish Student Union) with the Visionary award. Each honoree was highlighted to the audience by a video showcasing their work and then presented with a personalized plaque to commemorate the day. Lunch was served by executives and rabbis.

Co-chairs of the luncheon program were Beth Feldman (Jewish Light) and Rachel Lubchansky (H.F. Epstein) and Co-chairs of the awards were Tabari Coleman (ADL) and Margo Newman (Mirowitz). JPro board president is Levi Landa (Chabad) and Vice Presidents are Amy Stone (United Hebrew) and Shannon Rohlman (Mirowitz). More than forty staff members serve on the luncheon committees and the JPro board. In addition to presentations to the honorees, participants enjoyed door prizes and a game to match current pictures of execs and rabbis with their childhood photos.
