Where is Israel heading now? Jewish Federation of St. Louis invites the community to a special presentation with Sagi Melamed, VP for External Relations & Development at the Max Stern Yezreel Valley College, on Wednesday, October 29 at 7:00pm, Jewish Federation Kopolow Building.
In the aftermath of the War in Gaza this past summer, many in Israel and abroad are questioning what direction the state of Israel will take in the future. Examining the on-going challenges that face Israel in the Middle East, Sagi will address these issues and also explore the kinds of opportunities that exist as part of the Center for Studies in Jewish-Christian Relations that he co-founded at the Max Stern Yezreel Valley College in the lower Galilee.
Since graduating from Harvard University with an MA in Middle Eastern Studies, Sagi has focused his work on strengthening the economic and social fabric of the Galilee. He is the published author of Son of My Land, an IDF captain (res.) and Karate instructor.
