Historian Paul Liptz painted a a picture full imagery while visiting The Trumpeldor Cemetery of Tel Aviv. A place where many of Israel’s Zionist leaders and artists are buried. His humor and captivating talk of the history of Tel Aviv and and the realities of it today left us fascinated! He introduced us to the author Amos Oz who speaks of the vast differences of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem in his book “A Tale of Love And Darkness.”

A Segway tour along the Mediterranean Sea was amazing. We all caught on quite quickly and even used the bicycle path on the highway. Of course we learned of the history of the ancient city of Jaffa and how Tel Aviv connects to Jaffa’S past.

Check out the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. Its architecture is as unique as the exhibits. It was really neat seeing exhibits of international artists and learning about Israeli artists.
