Candidates in their 20s and 30s with demonstrated Jewish leadership encouraged to apply

The Young Professionals Division (YPD) of Jewish Federation of St. Louis is now accepting nominations for the 2014–15 seats of at-large board members. YPD is seeking young leaders who are passionate about Jewish life, philanthropy and building a community for Jews in St. Louis. The organization works to make and strengthen Jewish connections in the community and create opportunities for young adults to become involved in Jewish Federation.

“We are looking for the next group of passionate young leaders to serve as ambassadors to the Jewish community on behalf of YPD and Federation,” says Ben Cherry, president of the YPD Board. “Nominees should be creative, energetic, open minded and ready to join a dynamic leadership team that is dedicated to the future of the St. Louis Jewish community.”

Nominees must be between the ages of 23 and 35, have demonstrated Jewish leadership, have been an active participant in YPD, have completed the YPD Leadership Series (LEADS), and have sat on a planning committee or been active in Jewish Federation. Nominations will be accepted through July 28. Nomination forms may be filled out at www.YPDSTL.org/nominate.

All nominations will be reviewed by a committee, and announcements will be made within two to three weeks of the nominations deadline. For more information, contact Lee’at Bachar at 314-442-3817 or lbachar@jfedstl.org.
