A community-wide gathering to honor the memory of Eyal Yifrach, Gilad Shaar, and Naftali Frenkel, z”l, the three Israeli teens who were kidnapped and killed, will be held Wednesday, July 2 at 6:30 pm at the JCC Arts & Education Building, 2 Millstone Campus Drive, 63146.
In the days since the boys were kidnapped, the Jewish community across the globe, including here in St. Louis, rallied its support for their families and the people of Israel. With the news yesterday of the boys’ death, our local community will gather to share its grief, stand in unity and honor these lives that were cut short.
The program will include music, reading of psalms and lighting of memorial candles. The gathering is being convened by Jewish Federation of St. Louis and coordinated by the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), with the support of other local Jewish organizations.
