The Jewish Federation of St. Louis’ Community Inclusion Initiative is hosting a community forum for Jewish individuals with disabilities and their families on Sunday, June 29 at 2 pm at the Jewish Community Center Marilyn Fox Building, 16801 Baxter Road in Chesterfield.

The event will give attendees an opportunity to participate in an open discussion that will address needs and issues on inclusion within the Jewish community. The Inclusion Initiative encourages members of the Jewish community to attend this forum, share ideas and take an active role in promoting full participation of individuals with disabilities in the Jewish community.

Kosher light refreshments will be served. A sign language interpreter will be present.

Participation is free, but an RSVP is required. Please contact Rinat Kisin, inclusion coordinator for Jewish Federation, at rkisin@jfedstl.org or 314-442-3801 by June 20. A staffed respite room for children with special needs will be available; those families who need this care should let Rinat know so arrangements can be made.

The mission of the Inclusion Initiative is to promote full participation in Jewish life for individuals with disabilities and their families by enhancing inclusion, providing resources and collaborating with existing services in the Jewish community.
