Congratulations are extended to the 10 young adults chosen to participate in The Rubin Israel Experience for 2014. The all-expense-paid trip for St. Louisans who have never been to Israel is organized and staffed by Jewish Federation of St. Louis and underwritten by philanthropists Ron and Pam Rubin.

Traveling to Israel September 7 through 17 will be:

  • Joseph Auteberry
  • Tracy Berg
  • Ted Houser
  • Doug Kolker
  • Lynn Marsden
  • Anna Poger
  • David Roberts
  • Ricki Rosen
  • Jill Solomon
  • Julie Stern

The 10-day trip brings together a diverse group of young adults for a once-in-a-lifetime journey, packing in activities that help them experience Israeli culture, food, nightlife, innovation, nature and history.

“Being part of The Rubin Israel Experience was one of the best things to ever happen to me,” says 2013 participant Melissa Wallace. “I made a connection with Israel that can never be broken. I am so grateful to Pam and Ron Rubin for this amazing, and life changing experience.” The 2014 group of “Rubinites” will join Wallace and more than 60 others who have been on the trip since its inception, most of whom are currently involved in leadership positions in the local Jewish community.
