Jewish Federation of St. Louis welcomed St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay to our offices. The focus of our meetings with Mayor Slay was strengthening our regional partnership to engage people in our community. Federation has been working to attract and retain young Jews in St. Louis with vibrant next gen programs, including YPD, Concierge for Families with Young Children, Innovation Grants, and the Learn and Earn Internship Program for college students. The Mayor and his staff have been working toward a similar vision, investing in development projects that ensure St. Louis is a great place for young adults to live and work in. The future of the region and the future of our Jewish community are aligned. We are happy to collaborate with the mayor and the broader community as we work toward a common goal of a vibrant, engaging region.
