Jewish Federation of St. Louis invites area adults aged 22 to 45 years to participate in the 2014 National Young Leadership (NYL) Summer Trip to Israel. The trip, which will take place from June 30 through July 7, is a good way to experience incredible sites, touch Israel’s history, meet a diverse group of young professionals from across North America, learn more about Israel and the agencies Federation funds there, and get inspired to become more involved in the local Jewish community.
This year, participants also will be able to further explore their interests by choosing to spend a day participating in an outdoor adventure, experiencing the country’s food and wine, learning about Israel’s high-tech innovation, or taking a behind-the-scenes look at Israeli politics.
“The NYL Summer Trip is an incredible way to experience Israel,” says Matt Price, National Young Leadership Cabinet member and events co-chair of Federation’s Young Professionals Division. “You won’t just see it through the window of a bus—you get a real insider’s view and can really discover Israel in a way that’s meaningful to you. And you’ll have the opportunity to meet people from all over, from different backgrounds, married and single, who are involved in a wide range of professions and volunteer activities.”
The cost of the trip is $2,899 for a double room or $3,849 for a single room. In addition, Jewish Federation of St. Louis requires that participants make a minimum gift of $500 to its annual Community Campaign. A very limited number of subsidies are available.
